Lomborg

The main stationary line is among Denmark's most significant landscape elements. It separates two markedly different landscapes

To the north are hilly moraine landscapes formed in connection with the Main Thrust approximately 21,000-23,000 years ago.

To the south, the landscape is dominated by meltwater plains formed in connection with the Main Thrust and by hill islands, which are old moraine landscapes from the Middle Weichsel and the penultimate ice age, the Saale.

The site includes an approximately three kilometer stretch along the road near the town of Lomborg, approximately 5 km east of the Bovbjerg coastal profile.
