Become a volunteer in UNESCO Geopark West Jutland
Do you want to help convey the unique nature, geology and culture of West Jutland - and at the same time become part of a strong volunteer community?
So now you have the opportunity.
The association for volunteers in UNESCO Geopark West Jutland was founded in March 2026. The association brings together the many committed people who want to contribute to developing and communicating the geopark in the municipalities of Holstebro, Lemvig and Struer.
A community around nature, knowledge and experiences
As a volunteer, you can help to:

convey the geopark's exciting geology, nature and cultural history

help with activities, arrangements and events

contribute to the development of new experiences and attractions in the geopark

become part of a social community with other nature enthusiasts
Geopark Vestjylland has big plans for the coming years, where new information points and activities will make the geopark's history even more alive - and here volunteers play an important role.
Everyone can join.
You can become a member both as an individual or as an association. Membership is free, and Geopark Vestjylland is responsible for operations and secretariat.
The most important thing is that you want to get involved in the geopark and be part of the community.
