Aa-Mølle near Remmerstrand
Aa-Mølle is a 500-year-old listed watermill, considered one of the most interesting of its kind in Denmark. The mill has the only intact example of a Roman form of traction called Beighton Drive.

Common to all three areas is that a study of the areas is still underway to describe the occurrence of habitat types and species and their development.
N46: Natura 2000 site no. 219: Sandbanks off Thyborøn
The area has been designated as a habitat area and is located in the North Sea, approximately 10 km west of the mouth of the Limfjord with an area of just over 63 km2. The area has been designated to protect the marine habitat type "sandbanks with shallow, permanent cover of seawater", of which there are 3 - 4 in the area. The sandbanks are located at a water depth of approximately 16-20 meters and with segments of clayey sediment.
N47: Natura 2000 site no. 220: Sandbanks off Thorsminde
The area has been designated as a habitat area and is located in the North Sea, just under 2 km west of Nissum Fjord and has an area of just under 64 km2. The area has been designated solely because of the marine habitat type "sandbanks with shallow, continuous cover of seawater" and consists of several separate sandbanks at a water depth of approximately 10-20 meters. The sandbanks cover an area of approximately 20 km2.
N48: Natura 2000 area no. 247: Thyborøn Stenvolde
Thyborøn Stenvolde is a habitat area designated in 2010 and located approximately 20 km west of Thyborøn with some very distinctive and steep fauna-dominated stone reefs. The depth of the area varies between 25 and 40 meters with the stone reefs at the shallower depths, i.e. approximately 21-24 meters deep. The reefs have a number of rock peaks that rise from the bottom and can reach a height of up to 8 meters. The area is also very wave-exposed and sandy areas with distinct wave ridges are clearly visible. The total area of the area is approximately 78 km2.
